Early-career, tenure-track (research) faculty are invited to apply for the next Madison Teaching and Learning Excellence (MTLE) Faculty Fellowship, beginning in spring 2022.
MTLE is a two-semester professional development program in teaching that is designed to help early-career faculty apply evidence-based practices proven to enhance student learning. Fellows gain support from their early-career faculty peers and also build connections with experts from the robust teaching and learning community at UW-Madison. MTLE supports fast, effective, efficient,and satisfied starters in teaching. Throughout the program, fellows gather evidence about teaching advancements and successes to use in their tenure dossiers. Program alumni report they are not only more effective teachers, but they are also more efficient, having more time for research, service, and outreach.
