Promote a more transparent and inclusive learning environment by using several different means to reach students. This session will consider a variety of communication strategies instructors can use to provide students with ample opportunity to ask questions, receive answers, and obtain feedback and guidance. Outcomes:

1. State your expectations for student-instructor communication so students understand when and how to contact you for different kinds of questions.
2. Design communication plans and rhythm for your courses to maintain an active presence within the course.
3. Reflect on and apply lessons learned from remote instruction.
