Course Success Series: Communicating Workload Expectations

Communicating the workload of a course helps students channel their time and intellectual effort toward what is most critical. This session will help instructors build transparency into course and assignment workload expectations. - Estimate the amount of time it should take students to complete activities outside the classroom.
- Develop strategies for communicating course workload expectations.
- Examine options for collecting feedback about students’ workload experiences.
- Reflect on and apply lessons learned from remote instruction.
