The key to a successful course is planning and good design. Using a backward design process, you can design engaging activities and assessments that support course learning outcomes.

In this session, you will:

1. Outline how course materials, activities and assessments will guide students to achieve course learning outcomes.
2. Establish predictability in your course schedule.

This workshop is part of Teaching at UW: Pre-Semester Course Preparation. Participants are encouraged to attend all four pre-semester workshops.
