An effective assessment plan provides you with a view into how students are doing and whether they are meeting planned learning outcomes. Well-aligned assessments also help students reflect on and improve their own learning.

In this session, you will:

1. Develop assessment goals that inform course design and provide useful student feedback on their learning.
2. Align assessment approaches with your course learning outcomes.

This workshop is part of Teaching at UW: Pre-Semester Course Preparation. Participants are encouraged to attend all four pre-semester workshops.
