Teaching at UW: Promoting Student Health & Well-Being
April 29 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Instructors have the ability to influence student health and well-being. Health-promoting pedagogies and practices are those that support students’ holistic well-being, both in the classroom and through referral to appropriate campus resources. This session will be facilitated by staff members from the Center for Teaching, Learning and Mentoring and University Health Services.
In this session, you will:
- Examine and apply strategies to foster well-being in learning environments
- Familiarize yourself with campus resources and be prepared to refer students to appropriate resources as needed.
This workshop is part of the Teaching at UW Program.
