Dr. Margene Anderson has taught at all levels, from Kindergarten through graduate school. Margene joined UW–Madison in 2012 and has held a variety of similar roles, beginning as a consultant at DoIT Academic Technology, a senior strategic learning and technology consultant with DoIT Academic Technology, and now as a strategic teaching and learning consultant with CTLM. Margene is passionate about developing students who are flexible, nimble, and critical thinkers. She primarily works on curriculum development that focuses on student-centered pedagogy that promotes durable learning and the development of discipline-based problem solving skills. Her current professional interests are the development of foundational clinical reasoning skills, the impacts of curriculum transformation on instructors, and the implicit emotional labor of educators.
