Starling collaborates with instructional designers to make media used in courses more accessible for a wide array of learners and contexts. In this role she hopes to practice editing in order to apply these skills in future careers. Starling thrives when given a difficult task so that she may learn how to problem-solve and maybe one day teach others what she has learned. Starling loves reading and tries to read as often as possible. This passion led her to study English (with an emphasis in language and linguistics) and history and pursue a minor in gender and women’s studies. In addition to reading, she loves to walk around museums, especially the Chazen. After graduation, she hopes to turn these hobbies into careers and is exploring a future career path working in a museum or a publishing firm.
