T.J. is a master’s student in international public affairs at the La Follette School of Public Affairs, specializing in African studies and anthropology. Before this degree he completed a masters’s degree in evaluation studies at the University of Minnesota. He works as an evaluation and needs analyst in CTLM’s Evaluation group, where he assists with all things evaluation.
T.J.’s research interests include the intersection of morality and policies, the concept of the good life, heritage and ethnicity in contemporary African states, cultural values and moral psychology, environmental ethics, and the connection between evaluation and anthropology. Aside from graduate studies and work, he enjoys reading, working out in the gym, board games, trying new foods, and participating in good discussions.
