Dan Getzen started his project management career in the private sector for a variety of industries in 1997. Since arriving at UW–Madison, his focus has been managing projects supporting UW–Madison faculty and staff in their continuing growth as practitioners of the complex, challenging and dynamic craft of teaching. During his free time, Dan enjoys the outdoors – mountain biking, snowboarding, road cycling, snowshoeing, hiking and fat biking. Family is an important part of his life along with donating time to nonprofit community service clubs, including the Lake Geneva Jaycees and Lions Club.
