Miranda Winkelman has worked at UW–Madison since 2019. She began as a program coordinator at the Division of Continuing Studies for professional development programs such as Fundamentals of Online Teaching (FoOT) and Professional Certification in Online Education (PCOE). In addition, she helped coordinate the Distance Teaching & Learning Conference, assisting with attendees, marketing, and conference sessions as well as presenting with colleagues from CTLM. Miranda is an instructional designer at CTLM, primarily working on programs in the Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work. Miranda enjoys working alongside instructors to create courses that are accessible and empowering to students as they venture into their field. Outside of her regular duties, Miranda also has served as the divisional chair for Partners in Giving, an annual charitable campaign for state employees that supports more than 500 nonprofit organizations. This entails organizing events, spreading awareness about the campaign, and being the point person for the Division for Teaching & Learning.
