Instructor support

  • Receive 1-on-1 support designing assignments, assessments, and other course components and implementing evidence-based teaching practices within in-person, hybrid, and online courses. Contact us to get started.
  • Attend the UW-Madison Course Design Institute to receive 3 days of immersive support as you design or redesign an entire course.

Support from campus partners

Collaborative for Engineering Education and Teaching Effectiveness (CEETE)

Helps instructors in the College of Engineering apply the design process to their course so that instruction is based on desirable outcomes for students in a positive, inclusive learning environment. 

L&S Instructional Design Collaborative

Supports instructors in the College of Letters & Science with the selection and use of technologies to enhance teaching and learning, as well as with the design of course activities and assignments. 

Writing Across the Curriculum

Helps instructors find creative and effective ways to incorporate writing and speaking assignments into courses at all levels and in all disciplines.
