Sheila Stoeckel

Sheila provides collaborative leadership for the operational aspects of the center to ensure it can effectively assist faculty, instructors, and those who support instruction across campus. She has deep and varied experiences with teaching and learning initiatives on campus for the past 17 years. Previously, she directed the Teaching & Learning Program for UW–Madison Libraries and the Chancellor’s Go Big Read common reading program. She has also co-chaired the campus Teaching & Learning Symposium for well over a decade. Sheila is committed to sharing her work via presentations, publications, and professional networks and has engaged in national service throughout her career. Outside of work you can find her fighting weeds in her gardens, delightfully frustrated with her golf game, and often curled up with a good book.
